ZONE ADRÉNALINE Erratic boulders
The erratic boulders mystery dates back to the 18th century. A Scotsman
named James Hutton was the first to propose that such granite blocs, so
different from anything on the soil on which they rested, might have been laid
down by melting glaciers. No one took him seriously back then. In 1837, a Swiss
named Louis Agassiz solved the enigma, by publishing a well-documented book
suggesting that a large part of Europe had been once covered by ice. In time,
the scientific community accepted his evidence. Vos témoignages Il n'y a présentement aucun témoignage.
