THE CYBER CENTER Iberville SeaBy
around 7,000 BP, the Iberville Sea attained a maximum altitude of 198 metres
and had infiltrated about 100 Km inland into the Ungava Bay region. An area of
more than 37,000 Km 2 was drowned in northeast Quebec by this sea
which eventually covered a total area of close to 179,000 Km 2. As
was the case with the Goldthwait Sea, the Iberville Sea was in direct contact
with the ice sheet along its shores, which provoked the calving of icebergs. Your Testimonies There's currently no testimony.
