The prospector tent has a very long history, almost as long as that of the American Indian tipi. This large white tent was used in all journeys to the West, and all the North American gold rushes. The prospector tent found itself in the prairies, in the Rocky Mountains, in California, in Canada and in the Klondike in Alaska. Still today, this tent is very popular with First Nations who use it during the summer. But American Indians are not the only ones to appreciate this large tent of white fabric, adventure tourism directors, outdoor activity enthusiasts and ranchers all use it, as well. So can you!
