One of our guide-interpreter, Gabrielle Alix, will leave soon for a Students on Ice expedition to the Arctic.
On the 29th of July, 75 international students will begin a transformative adventure of 16 days with a team of 30 world-renowned scientists, environmentalists and polar educators to the Arctic.
They will explore southern Baffin Island, Nunavut and the northern reaches of Nunavik, combining shore landings, interpretive hikes, community visits, Zodiak cruises and ship-based exploration. Presentations, workshops, naturalist seminars, small group discussion and time for personal reflection will be incorporated.
