Thanks to the magic of sound, image, light, and multimedia technologies, this virtual expedition transports you to the center of the glacier and the climate change field of inquiry.
Set up in a converted church, the Glacier Exploration Station features a multimedia installation in three acts, composed of spectacular projections and settings, as well as different thematic zones. Equipped with a headset through which scientific content is delivered, the visitor-explorer is taken on a gripping and impressive journey!
After the journey the visitor-explorer is able to understand the phenomena which caused the formation of glaciers, climate changes and the migration of the ice peoples. An experience that is rich in emotions and suited to all ages.
The Glacier Exploration Station is equipped to receive “handicapped or people with reduced mobility”.
